About the Business

LIGHT+INK is a new venture started by Lori A. (Duprey) Coleman with the goal of being your local, reliable source for visual creativity in all areas of photography and graphic design. With our knowledge of digital workflows, and an understanding of how photography, graphic design and printing work together, we can create a visual product that is optimized for your output, whether it is in print or on the web. L+I is proud to serve upstate New York, including Rochester, Syracuse, Buffalo and the Finger Lakes. National and international travel is also available to suit the needs of our clients.

About the Artist

Hi, I am Lori A. Coleman, originally from Waterloo, NY, but I now call Fairport, NY home. I am a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), with a BFA degree in Visual Media. This program allowed me invaluable access to many fields, including photojournalism, architectural photography, digital printing, graphic design, book binding, and typography which I use to bridge the gap among the medias. (I also studied golf, wine and american sign language! RIT is a great school!) In addition, I received a Certificate in Business Management, served on student government,  and studied abroad in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Learning will never cease, as I continue to try new techniques, read, research and network with my peers.

All of these life experiences have prepared me for the launch of my own business. LIGHT+INK has been a dream of mine for many years, and I am proud and excited to introduce you to her. LIGHT+INK strives to be your friendly creative resource and exceed your expectations.
